About ourselves

Nei-Ja is located in Dashi township, the south-east of Taoyuan County. Before Shihmen Reservoir has been built, Dashi used Lyung Gogan River becoming a very important area in north Taiwan. But we still didn’t have a modern western style school in Dashi. During the Janpan colonial period, Japan thought Taiwan people should be “civilized”, so Nei-Ja Elementary School(NJES) was established at 6 years later when Japan controlled Taiwan. Now, our school has a lots “Liquidambar formosana”(楓香), they are heritage from Japanese.

There are 6 grades, 12 classes, and 151 angels in our school. Parts of them are aborigine. We are all proud of our history, different culture and environment, thus, we emphasize native and environment education. We believe if our angels could have thankful, creative minds, live in a no pressure, healthy world, our future will be better. Therefore, we do hope our angels can enjoy their school life in NJES.

一、Nei-Ja Elementary School

二、1.Location：Nei-Ja Elementary School is located in Dashi township, the south-east of Taoyuan County, on the way from Dashi township to Shihmen Reservoir.

2.Campus：Due to Japanese, we have 8-10 Liquidambars that are more than 100 years. For this special scene, our campus looks like a tender gentleman with grey roof and white wall. Now, our school has Computer Classroom, Library, Laboratory, Music Classroom, Art and Craft Classroom,.

3.Classes：There are 6 grades, 12 classes, 1 Resource Classroom and 151 angels in our school.

4.Characteristics： We provide Kids 3 Clubs to choose－ The Blade Roller Club and the Tae Kwon Do Club in every Wednesday afternoon, and the Diabolo Club in every Monday afternoon. Beside, after school we teach our kids a lot of things: Flute, Painting, and especially our famous native language teaching.

Now, our school has a lots “Liquidambar formosana”(楓香), they are heritage from Japanese. Till 1902, we were branch of Lyung Gogan Elementary School (new is Dashi Elementary School). By now, kids here and their parents even grandmother are all our students. We together make NJES better.

四、Vision：We want to create a no-pressure, healthy teaching environment. And helping them to treat our circumstance more gentle, more create full of thanks giving.
